Dr. Nicolette Fisher, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Daniel Island
Nicolette is a physical therapist originally from Sumter, SC, and also spent some of her younger years in York, PA. Raised in a household where health and wellness were paramount, Nicolette's early memories include running with her father and enjoying nutritious meals together, which shaped her understanding of holistic well-being.
Nicolette's athletic pursuits in cross country, track, swimming, and basketball exposed her to the challenges and the frustrations of recurring injuries, and it was through her own rehab journey that she discovered the transformative power of physical therapy. Fascinated by the ability to rebuild and strengthen the body, Nicolette was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy!
She spent 4 years at Clemson University to earn her Bachelors of Sciences degree in Biological Sciences. While a senior at Clemson University, Nicolette also stepped into a role as an assistant women’s basketball coach for a nearby college working closely with athletes who had season altering injuries. She went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed an Orthopedic Residency with MUSC to further specialize in physical therapy.
She is passionate about a healthcare model truly focused on health. Nicolette wants to help you move better, achieve your goals, and become a healthier version of yourself, whatever that may look like to you!
