KEEP MOVING.

FIX THE ROOT CAUSE OF YOUR PAIN.

Back pain physical therapy on Daniel Island — Made2Move PT

Don't let pain hold you back from doing
what you love.

Most people who come to us with back pain have already tried everything. PT. Chiro. Dry needling. Massage. Injections. And every time — things calm down for a while, then the pain comes back.

That's because most treatments for back pain don't solve the problem. In a lot of cases they make things worse — because they reinforce the fear. They make you feel fragile, weak, and dependent on something external to feel okay.

Here's the truth: your back is not damaged. It's undertrained. We've been so conditioned to protect our backs that we've stopped loading them — and unprepared backs get hurt doing the dishes.

The self-fulfilling cycle is real: told your back is fragile → avoid loading → back gets weaker → gets hurt more easily → confirms the belief → protect it more.

We break the cycle. Not by doing less — by building more.

Imagine moving without worrying about back pain.

This is for you if:

• You've had on and off back pain for years and have started to believe it's just who you are
• You stopped certain movements — deadlifts, squats, picking things up off the floor — and haven't gone back
• You've been to PT before and it didn't stick
• Your back pain is affecting your sleep, your work, your golf game, or your ability to keep up with your kids
• You want to get back in the gym, back on the course, or just back to living without thinking about your back every day
• You're on Daniel Island and want to work with a team that actually understands active, performance-minded people

HOW WE HELP WITH BACK PAIN

At Made 2 Move on Daniel Island, we don't start by telling you what to avoid. We start by finding out what your back isn't prepared to handle — and building that capacity progressively.

After a 90 minute assessment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, we'll build you a plan that not only solves your pain, but prevents it from coming back.

Step one: calm it down without making you more fearful. You keep moving. We modify intelligently. Pain is data, not a red light.

Step two: build it up. Progressive loading through the movements your back has been avoiding — done at a level your body can tolerate and recover from. We add rotation, flexion, and real-world loading patterns back in gradually. We don't skip steps.

Mike came to us scared to pick up his daughter. Jenna couldn't sleep through the night. Both of them came in with years of accumulated fear and avoidance. Both left moving pain-free with a plan to stay that way.

That's the goal — not just fixing the flare-up, but changing your relationship with your back for good.

From Our Patients

Jenna came to us with back pain so severe it was waking her up at night. No injury — just years of tension and poor posture that had built up until her body finally said enough.

She'd felt like Humpty Dumpty — fallen apart and broken. She stuck to the plan, put in the work, and two months later the pain was gone.

"AG put me back together again. I feel so much better, the pain is gone, and I have a plan moving forward to keep pain and tension away in the future."

That plan is the part that matters most. Not just getting you out of pain — giving you the tools to stay out of it.
