SPORTS REHAB PROVIDER
PART TIME | In-Person | PT or ATC
Made 2 Move is hiring a part-time PT or ATC who wants to help us provide incredible rehab and patient care to athletes in the Charleston area.
Getting an athlete back to sport takes more than getting them out of pain. It takes strength, loading, programming, objective testing, coaching, and enough time with an athlete to actually prepare them for the demands they're going back to.
That's how we've built our ACL and Youth Athlete program in Charleston, and we're looking for another clinician who wants to help us with this mission.

JOIN OUR TEAM
Demand for our program is outpacing what we can currently see. Our ACL evaluations this year have already passed last year's total, with surgeons, coaches, and families sending us athletes faster than our current schedule allows. This role exists so we can say yes to more of them.
You'll treat athletes one-on-one inside a sports performance training facility, learn alongside clinicians who have spent years building this program, and develop your own caseload of youth and adult athletes recovering from ACL and other orthopedic injuries.
You don't need to come in as an ACL expert. You do need to understand training.
What This Role Looks Like:
This is a part-time role focused primarily on 1:1 patient care during high-demand afternoon and after-school hours.
You'll work mostly with youth and adult athletes recovering from ACL and other orthopedic injuries. Over time, the goal is for you to independently own your caseload and take athletes from rehab back into training and sport.
Your role will include:
1:1 sports rehab
ACL and post-operative rehabilitation
Youth athlete injuries
Strength and return-to-sport programming
Objective testing and progression
Evaluations and plan-of-care conversations as you're ready to own them
Communication with families, coaches, physicians, and performance professionals

Made 2 Move helps active people overcome pain and injuries, transform their health, and stay active for life.

WHAT
SUCCESS
LOOKS LIKE
This role is centered around afternoon and evening patient care, when our youth athlete demand is highest. Evening availability is required.
Our current need is primarily Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings, with some flexibility for the right person. To start, this is roughly 15 to 20 hours a week between patient care, team meetings, and training, with room to grow as your caseload builds.
Every session is 45 to 90 minutes, one-on-one with a provider. No insurance, no productivity quotas, no double booking, no techs running your patients.
You treat athletes inside a real training facility with the time and equipment to prepare them for the demands of their sport.
We've been treating ACL athletes for close to a decade and have built a referral network over that time. We care a lot about this program, have strong word of mouth in Charleston, and are looking for the right person to help us keep growing it.
Help us change healthcare in Charleston.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inside the clinic:
15-20 hours/week of patient care
Program personalized exercise prescriptions for patients through our app
Deliver 45 to 90 minute one on one sessions
Build and manage your caseload
Develop real relationships with patients
Outside the clinic:
Be active in local gyms and fitness communities
Build relationships with coaches, owners, and members
Stay visible through Made 2 Move content and engagement
Support you will receive:
Marketing and new patient flow
Sales training and guidance
Consistent one-on-one mentorship and team clinical growth meetings
Systems/AI software that reduce admin and documentation time

You're the right person if this sounds like you:
PT or ATC, licensed in South Carolina. But even more than that... We're looking for someone comfortable bridging the gap from rehab to performance.
For us, that means we do more than rehab an injury and reduce pain. We focus on the athlete's health, fitness, and performance goals. How do we make an injury the catalyst for strength training and long-term health habits? How do we take this injury and make an athlete healthier than they were before it?
What we're not flexible on:
You have to want to learn, take accountability, and take ownership
Significant strength and conditioning experience
Strong understanding of training, loading, and programming
Passion for working with youth and athletic populations
Helps, but isn't required:
CSCS
ACL rehab experience
Return-to-sport testing experience
Deceleration and change-of-direction experience
Experience coaching athletes in a performance setting
We are looking for someone who wants to treat athletes 1-on-1 and make a lasting impact in your patient's lives.
Where This Can Go
As you grow, your role can grow with you:
Independent ownership of your own caseload
Your own surgeon, coach, and team relationships
A voice in program decisions like testing standards, programming, and how we reach more athletes
Growth toward full time; if that's what you want and the volume supports it
This can also be a great long-term part-time role. How the position grows will depend on you, what you're looking for, and how the program grows.
This is not for you if
You want to "clock in and clock out"
You avoid building relationships with others
You are uncomfortable charging for your value
You prefer low effort or predictable environments
You are uncomfortable with feedback and growth

At Made 2 Move, we spend the time to get to know our patients and build a personalized plan that leads to real change.
From runners with knee pain, moms with back pain, to lifters with shoulder pain: we work with a wide range of demographics and diagnoses, but they all have one thing in common: they care about their health.
We believe healthcare should address root problems with solutions that give lasting results, while helping people actually get healthier and more resilient along the way.
Many healthcare providers will tell patients to stop running or give up activities they love because they’re “bad” for them. We believe in teaching our patients how to keep doing what they love — safely, sustainably, and for the long haul.
What we believe:
We believe that great physical therapy isn’t about quick fixes, checklists, or lame home exercise programs — it’s about relationships. In order to help our patients, we must truly know them.
Most of healthcare nowadays looks more like sickcare.
We believe physical therapy should be proactive, not reactive.
We believe strength and movement drive physical adaptation.
We believe pain is complex and not solved through passive care.
We believe patients deserve time, attention, and a real relationship.
We believe our role is to raise someone’s baseline health, not just get them out of pain.

We believe everyone deserves the freedom to move and exercise without pain.

OUR MISSION
We empower our clients by giving them movement freedom and removing barriers to their long term health.
OUR TEAM
Our team of Doctors of Physical Therapy and Movement Specialists is dedicated to helping people overcome pain and injuries, get back to doing what they love, and stay active and healthy - for life.
OUR VISION
We strive to inspire our community to prioritize their health so they can be strong, resilient, and adaptable.

Compensation includes a guaranteed weekly base you can count on from day one, plus a performance-based rate that grows as your caseload fills. The base is guaranteed from the start. The performance side grows as your caseload does.
The specific structure will depend on experience, availability, and the scope of the role.
Additional benefits include:
401(k), based on eligibility
Paid gym membership
Continuing education budget
Ongoing mentorship and professional development
