Still Dealing With Back Pain That Won't Go Away?

You've tried resting it, pushing through it, maybe even another round of PT — and the pain keeps coming back. You're not broken. You just haven't found the root cause yet.

You've Been Told to Just Rest

Generic PT Hasn't Worked

You're Afraid of Making It Worse

Rest masks the problem — it doesn't solve it. If your pain returns every time you get back to training, running, or daily life, something deeper is being missed.

If your previous PT had you on a table with a TENS unit and a printout of band exercises, it's no wonder you plateaued. You need individualized treatment, not a protocol.

Living in fear of your own body is exhausting. You deserve a clear plan that tells you exactly what to do — and gives you the confidence to move again without second-guessing every step.

Why Charleston Chooses Made 2 Move for Back Pain

Made 2 Move is not your average physical therapy clinic. We're a performance PT practice built for active adults and athletes who refuse to sit on the sidelines. Every visit is a full 60+ minute, 1-on-1 session with your own Doctor of Physical Therapy — never handed off to a tech or aide. We start with a 90-minute deep-dive assessment to find what's actually driving your low back pain, then build a fully individualized plan delivered straight to your phone. Self-pay with 100% cost transparency — HSA/FSA accepted, no surprise bills.

  • 60+ min, 1-on-1 with your Doctor of PT every single visit — no techs, no aides, no shortcuts

  • 90-minute root-cause assessment with movement screens and strength testing included

  • Located inside Ethos Athletic Club — a 21,000 sq ft performance gym with infrared sauna and steam room

Getting Back to Pain-Free Living Is a 3-Step Process

Step 1: Find the Root Cause

Step 2: Follow Your Custom Plan

Step 3: Get Back to What You Love

Your 90-minute initial assessment goes beyond the painful spot. We use movement screens, strength testing, and a full history to identify exactly what's driving your low back pain.

Your Doctor of PT builds an individualized program — delivered to your phone — that combines hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, and progressive strength work to fix the problem for good.

With a clear return-to-activity plan and the tools to stay pain-free on your own, you'll move with more confidence, strength, and freedom than before your injury.

Gary Bolduc

"Originally experiencing back pain when running, Nicolette performed a complete assessment and determined the best path forward to address weaknesses that were the primary cause of my pain. In a less than expected time period, she had me running pain free — and also improved my overall leg strength, making me a stronger runner!"

Kris Litman-Koon

"For over a year I experienced a lot of pain if I ran more than 2 or 3 miles. I worked with AG, and she did a phenomenal job diagnosing what was going on and creating a personalized plan for strength and training. I'm back to running long distances pain-free and I look forward to racing again."

Mike Hirsch

Your Questions, Answered

Do you accept insurance?

We are a self-pay practice, which means we work directly with you — no insurance middlemen, no surprise bills, and 100% cost transparency from day one. We accept HSA and FSA cards, and we can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your first visit is a 90-minute deep-dive assessment — not a rushed intake. Your Doctor of Physical Therapy will take a full history, run movement screens and strength tests, identify the root cause of your low back pain, and build a personalized plan with you before you leave. No cookie-cutter protocols, no guesswork.

Can I keep training while I'm doing physical therapy?

Absolutely — that's exactly our approach. We don't shut you down; we find your entry point back into your sport or training. Our goal is to keep you moving, modify what needs to be modified, and build you back stronger than before. Most of our patients train throughout their entire PT program.
