Meg is the owner of Made 2 Move PT of Mount Pleasant. She has 9 years of clinical experience practicing orthopedic physical therapy. She has also become passionate about women’s health and helping women restore function and well-being in all aspects of their life. Meg is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, OH (BS in Biology, 2004) and she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in Arlington, VA (2008). Originally from Annapolis, MD, Meg relocated to Charleston with her husband and yellow lab to begin her career. As a competitive athlete throughout college, Meg dealt with a variety of “over-use” injuries, which only further fueled her desire to become a PT. While most of her continuing education has focused on orthopedics, Meg is currently pursuing her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy-Pregnancy and Postpartum (CAPP-OB) through the American Physical Therapy Association. As an athlete, mom, and physical therapist, Meg recognized the need for specific, one-on-one guidance and support in resuming exercise after having her two boys. She combines her years of orthopedic experience with personal “real-life mom” experience to help women move and exercise the way they want to!

What Our Clients Are Saying
“I don’t know what I would have done without Meg and her PT skills, knowledge and support. After having surgery for a ruptured Achilles Tendon, physical therapy was required and necessary. With her gentle touch and optimistic spirit, she helped me work on building back my strength, mobility, and confidence. My overall pain decreased and my movement improved after each session. I am so grateful for having had Meg help me through a very difficult and challenging rehabilitation. She’s kind, thorough, and just a pleasure to be around!”Laura H.

“Working through the aftermath of hip surgery, the idea of physical therapy was very scary. How hard would it be? How often would they expect me to show up? How painful would it be? Lots of questions, lots of trepidation, and then I met Meg Henderson. She is highly skilled, intelligent, extraordinarily kind, a good listener, and a wonderful cheerleader. What I appreciated most was the way she would “check in” with me during our sessions together – asking how an exercise felt, or how difficult or easy an exercise was for me, and asking me how I was doing – she was always listening and always present. With Meg, I made continuous progress. She believed in me, she is very, very good at what she does, and I was most fortunate to have her help me.”Sidneye H.
