I was born and raised in Charleston, SC. Both of my parents are from Switzerland, so not your typical southern upbringing. I grew up playing a lot of sports but mostly soccer. I dealt with multiple knee injuries in high school and college. It ended up being a blessing as I redirected all my energy into my new passion: physical therapy.
My inspiration came from my little sister who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She required a lot of physical therapy throughout her entire life. I was able to see first-hand the impact physical therapy could have on the patient as well as the therapist. It is now my mission to help others become healthier, stronger, and more active. I believe that anything can be achieved through the right medical care, movement practice, and lifestyle changes.

Meg is the owner of Made 2 Move PT of Mount Pleasant. She has 9 years of clinical experience
practicing orthopedic physical therapy. She has also recently become passionate about
women’s health and helping women restore function and well-being in all aspects of their life.
Meg is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, OH (BS in Biology, 2004) and she
received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in Arlington, VA
(2008). Originally from Annapolis, MD, Meg relocated to Charleston with her husband and
yellow lab to begin her career. As competitive athlete throughout college, Meg dealt with a
variety of “over-use” injuries, which only further fueled her desire to become a PT. While most of
her continuing education has focused on orthopedics, Meg is currently pursuing her Certificate
of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy-Pregnancy and Postpartum (CAPP-OB) through the
American Physical Therapy Association. As an athlete, mom, and physical therapist, Meg
recognized the need for specific, one-on- one guidance and support in resuming exercise after
having her two boys. She combines her years of orthopedic experience with personal “real-life
mom” experience to help women move and exercise the way they want to!
